personal branding

What’s important to me?

A friend once told me that he liked asking me questions because I explain things without making him feel stupid. I respect questions; I believe anyone who wants to can learn anything they want.

"But does it work?" is my personal mantra, and how I judge the worth of pretty much anything. I don't trust people who try to cover up something that isn't working with fancy words or pretty images.

Working retail honed my natural empathy. It taught me how to tell if someone understands what I'm saying, and is getting what they really want.

Personal mission statement:

I am a digital native, human bean, systems thinker, & idea generator.
Balancing logic and empathy means I find the true causes of problems, and solve them with creativity and humor to create digital partners for humanity's experiences.
Learning is a continuously iterative process, as is applying that knowledge, and I love that.
